1. Core Philosophy: 100% Local
DocInspector is built on the fundamental principle that professional document auditing should never leave the local environment. Unlike cloud-based tools, all document processing, OCR, and sanitization happen strictly on your Windows workstation.
2. Data Transmission
The application does not include any background data exfiltration services. There are no external API calls to remote servers for processing document content. Your files are yours alone.
3. No AI Learning
We do not use Large Language Models (LLMs) or remote AI services that ingest your data for "training." Our logic is traditional, deterministic code, ensuring that sensitive evidence remains confidential and outside of any AI training sets.
4. GDPR Compliance
By keeping processing local, DocInspector helps your organization meet GDPR requirements by design. Since no data is stored or processed by us, you maintain full control over the Data Subject's information at all times.
5. Telemetry & Logs
Generic usage telemetry (e.g., application crashes) is only collected if explicitly opted-in by the user. Logs generated by the Audit or Repair tools are stored locally in your chosen output directory and are never uploaded to our servers.
