Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading the desktop application, installing it, or accessing/using our free online browser tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, you are not authorized to use the software or web services.

2. License Grant & Permitted Usage

Desktop Application: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run DocInspector on your personal or corporate Windows workstation, subject to your active trial or purchased subscription tier.

Browser Online Tools: We grant you permission to use our web-based tools for processing up to 100 document files per day under our free promotional usage tier. We reserve the right to modify usage limits, introduce paid premium tiers, or offer unified subscription packages covering both the web tools and the desktop application in the future. Any automated batch scripting, scraping, API exploitation, or DDoS attacks on our web endpoints is strictly prohibited.

3. Dual Architecture & Data Responsibility

Desktop Application (Local): Processes documents 100% offline. You are entirely responsible for securing your workstation environment, local system backups, and the integrity of data processed using the application.

Browser Online Tools (Web): You are responsible for ensuring that you possess all legal rights, permissions, and consents to upload and process the files you submit. While we process your documents statelessly and delete them completely within 5 minutes, you retain full ownership and liability of all submitted data.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the DocInspector desktop application or web engines. You may not lease, resell, distribute, or sub-license the software to any third parties without explicit written consent.

5. Limitation of Liability & Warranty

DocInspector software and online browser tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any document processing errors, temporary service outages, data transmission corruption, loss of profits, or indirect damages arising from the use of our desktop tools or online services.
